§ Mr. RifkindThe proposals in the White Paper "Working for Patients" are designed to improve health care for patients in rural areas as in other parts of Scotland. They include an undertaking to safeguard the position of doctors in the less-populated areas of Scotland and who offer a good standard of service to their patients.
