§ Mr. ButcherIt is for each local education authority to decide whether to provide insurance cover for its staff or pupils taking part in sport or other out-of-school activities, but there is no general duty for it to do so. Some advice on insurance is given in the Department's safety booklet "Safety in Outdoor Pursuits" and other booklets in the safety series, obtainable from Her Majesty's Stationery Office.
