Dr. ThomasTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales if his Department was informed about the cargo of 2,000 tonnes of Danish-origin toxic wastes refused at the port of Briton Ferry on 23 September, prior to the rejection by the port's authorities.
§ Mr. GristI am not aware of such a consignment's having been refused at the port of Briton Ferry. A consignment of waste from Denmark is currently being removed from the port for disposal to an appropriately licensed site.
