To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if any officials from his Department were present at official celebrations in Israel to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the creation of the state of Israel; and if he will make a statement.

Yes. Her Majesty's ambassador in Tel Aviv attended a number of functions to celebrate this anniversary.
