§ Mr. NichollsWritten instructions providing guidance on the interpretation and enforcement of the Food and Environment Protection Act and its regulations have been issued to all HSE agricultural inspectors. These formal instructions are supported by relevant publications and training when necessary.
It has not been necessary to drop any duties to accommodate the work, which arises gradually as regulations come successively into force; some priorities in the work programme have been adjusted.
