§ Mr. Michael ForsythNone. All nurses will receive a pay award of at least 4 per cent. as from 1 April this year and the range of increase, following implementation of the new clinical grading structure, will be up to 33.6 per cent. or even higher in some cases. Where, exceptionally, an individual's post is regraded to a level which attracts a salary lower than that formerly earned, his or her salary will be protected at the 1 April level, including the 4 per cent. pay rise.
