§ Mr. MaudeRevised estimates of investment in the second quarter of 1988—the most recent available—together with other investment figures were published on 15 September 1988 in the form of a press release. The estimate for manufacturing industry, including leased assets, is £2.9 billion at 1985 prices and seasonally adjusted—the highest quarterly figure recorded.
