Dr. ThomasTo ask the Prime Minister whether Her Majesty's Government have any further plans to take international initiatives on environmental and development issues following the response to the World Commission on Environment and Development in the report "Our Common Future" provided in July.
§ The Prime MinisterAs I said in my foreword to the Government's response, all relevant Departments of State have been invited to examine their policies in the light of the recommendations of the World Commission's report. The Government are also considering what further environmental initiatives should be taken on a wider, international basis.
