To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what was the departmental representation and what papers by departmental officials or departmental consultants were presented at (a) the 1988 European summer school on radioactive waste management held at Christ's college, Cambridge, on 11 to 14 July, (b) the international conference on disposal of radioactive waste in seabed sediments held at St. Catherine's college, Oxford, on 20 and 21 September and (c) the international conference on decommissioning of major radioactive facilities held at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, London, on 11 and 12 October; and if he will place copies of all departmental papers From such conferences in the Library.
