§ Mr. NichollsThe hotel and catering training board has the leading role in promoting training provision in the industry, particularly through its 8,000-place YTS managing agency and the development of Caterbase, a modular testing and certification system for all occupations in the sector. I also welcome the board's recent involvment in employment training, which has a significant contribution to make to the supply of skilled workers in a growing industry.
