To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what arrangements he is making to take account of public views in the review under article 11 of the Anglo-Irish Agreement.

The review, beginning in November, will examine the whole working of the conference and its associated secretariat to see whether any changes in the scope and nature of its activities are desirable. I am anxious to have available any views that hon. Members and other interested parties may wish to put forward. I would be grateful if such views could be forwarded to me as soon as possible, and not later than the end of the year.

I have already written to the leaders of the Northern Ireland parties, and the Northern Ireland spokesmen of other parties in the House, inviting their contributions.
