§ Mr. PikeTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what recent representations he has received regarding the proposed closure of the Windermere and River Frome laboratories of the Freshwater Biological Association; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. MoynihanI have received a number of representations about the River Frome laboratory. This and the Windermere laboratory of the Freshwater Biological Association are funded by grant-in-aid from the Natural Environment Research Council which comes under the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Education and Science.
