To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs when he last met the Pakistan ambassador; and what matters were discussed.

My right hon. and learned Friend has met the ambassador of Pakistan on a number of occasions. Their discussions have ranged over a variety of issues, including bilateral relations between our two countries, and the problem of Afghanistan.
