To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what information he has as to the availability of(a) Stilton cheese and (b) foreign cheeses.

During 1987 approximately 8,300 tonnes of Stilton cheese were produced. In the same period some 162,000 tonnes of cheese were imported into the United Kingdom.
