§ Mr. Douglas HoggNo, but I am aware of the concern about the difficulties encountered during the recent casual election to fill a vacancy on Nottingham city council, of which the returning officer and another hon. Member have supplied me with details. It appears that the remedies available in law have so far proved largely adequate to meet the situation.
