§ Mr. ViggersSince I announced to the House on 21 July our readiness to consider suitable proposals for the privatisation of Shorts, the Government have appointed Kleinwort Benson as their merchant banking advisers and Norton Rose as their legal advisers. My officials and the advisers are preparing a sales memorandum for issue to prospective purchasers. A number of companies and organisations have expressed an interest in Shorts.
