§ Mr. Peter BottomleyA number of junction improvements on the existing A13 have been included in the trunk road programme. There are no plans for a new trunk road link. The London Docklands development corporation (LDDC) has a programme of road schemes designed to improve access into and within docklands.
The consultants for the Department's east London assessment study are considering options to alleviate the transport related problems in a wide area of east London. The report giving their recommendations is due in the summer of 1989.
