To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment how many appeals under the right-to-buy scheme have been made by Camden council tenants in each year since the scheme began; and in how many cases the valuation was reduced on appeal.

The table gives, for each year since 1980, the number of applications by tenants of the London borough of Camden for determination of the vaue of their homes by the district valuer under what is now section 128 of the Housing Act 1985, and the number of these cases in which the council's valuation was reduced:
