§ The Prime MinisterThe provisional estimate of the cost of my Australian visit that I gave in my answer of 19 October was based on estimates of the costs of the RAF VC-l0 (given by the Minister of State for the Armed Forces in his answer of 19 October) and of communications, accommodation and ancillary costs incurred by the official party. In arriving at the figure of £174,000 allowance was made for the recoveries expected to be made from journalists and others who also travelled on the VC-10.
