To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he is now in a position to announce the allocations to health boards of the additional amount to cover the cost of the review body pay awards.

Health boards have been given an additional £93.433 million over and above their initial allocations for 1988–89 to allow them to meet the cost of the review body pay awards. The additional allocations relate to nurses and other staff covered by the review bodies and are as follows:
