§ Mr. Norman LamontWider share ownership forms a central part of the Government's plans. The continuing programme of privatisation will provide an opportunity for first-time investors to take a stake in British companies. The Government also continue to encourage wider share ownership through personal equity plans and the various employee share schemes that are available.
