To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will list the total budgets for each regional health authority in the United Kingdom for the last 10 years.

For information on the total revenue and capital expenditure incurred by health authorities in England, including analyses by region (and for recent years to individual regional and district health authorities), I refer the hon. Member to the Department's annual booklet "Health Authorities' Annual Accounts—National Summary (England)"—copies of which are held in the Library.

Questions concerning health authorities in the other countries within the United Kingdom are matters for my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland and my right hon. Friends the Secretaries of State for Wales and Northern Ireland.
