§ Mr. Parry
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when the case of Mr. R. J. Driscoll, of Liverpool, arising from his claim to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board in December 1985, will be decided.

§ Mr. John Patten
As the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board is responsible for the consideration and determination of individual applications for compensation, I have asked the board to write to the hon. Member.
