§ Mr. WaldegraveLocal authorities give grants of £40 million each year for the adaptation of houses for disabled people. My Department has published today a manual which will provide practical advice for all those engaged in this work. Copies have been sent to all housing, social services and health authorities in England and my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales is taking similar action. A copy has been placed in the Library.
