§ Mr. ParkinsonSubject to parliamentary approval of the necessary Supplementary Estimate, the cash limit for class VI, vote 7, will be increased by £3,500,000 to £6 million. This increase reflects a revision of the amount of work to be undertaken in 1988–89 in connection with the privatisation of the electricity supply industry in England and Wales now that a number of decisions have been taken and published in the White Paper "Privatising Electricity" (Cm 322).
