§ Mr. LangComprehensive figures on the level of job creation in Scotland are not available. However, in the 183W period April 1983 to March 1988, offers of regional selective assistance (RSA) were associated with the creation of 48,000 new jobs, and the safeguarding of a further 32,000 jobs.
