HC Deb 24 May 1988 vol 134 c101W
Mr. Parry

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy if he will make a statement on his recent visit to Liverpool.

Mr. Parkinson

I visited the Merseyside Council for Voluntary Services on 12 February to show my support for the community insulation project which it sponsors under the community programme. This project, known as "Keep Warm", has now draughtproofed over 2,500 homes of pensioners and low-income households in Liverpool. I was impressed by the enthusiasm of the sponsors of the project, and the success that they have achieved. I have since been in correspondence with the Merseyside Council for Voluntary Services about the points it raised with me during this visit.
