asked the Chairman of Committees:

Whether the Refreshment Sub-Committee has met since the outbreak of salmonella poisoning, and when it is proposed to hold the next meeting.

The sub-committee last met on Monday 9th May, the day the outbreak came to light. From 11th to 18th May, meetings with the environmental health and medical authorities investigating the outbreak were convened each weekday by Black Rod. The chairman of the sub-committee attended those meetings. The next meeting of the sub-committee will be arranged when the results of the tests and investigations undertaken have been received.
