§ Mr. Michael ForsythNo. The scientific evidence available to the Government reflected the outcome of research and monitoring work on the state of salmon stocks in Scotland and was discussed in the course of the consideration of the weekly close time regulations by the Second Standing Committee on Statutory Instruments on470W 4 May. The Government have no plans for a further review of the weekly close time for salmon net fishing in Scotland.
