§ Mr. EggarWe receive full and regular reports from Her Majesty's high commissioner in New Delhi and his staff. They are regular visitors to the Punjab. The high commissioner last visited Punjab on 26 and 27 April and discussed the situation there with the Governor of Punjab and other prominent figures.
My hon. Friend has made frequent representations with regard to the interest of his constituents in this context.
