§ Mr. EggarWe sympathise with the efforts of the Indian Government to protect innocent people from the attacks and intimidation by Sikh terrorists which so far this year have resulted in over 900 deaths among the Sikh and other communities in Punjab. We co-operate closely with the Indian Government in combating the activities of Sikh extremists.
