§ Mr. AdleyTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what information he has as to which police force or forces have carried out inquiries following the discovery of an arms cache in a city in the north of England in 1987; and if he will call for a report from the appropriate chief constables as to the size and nature of the cache, as to the progress of the police inquiries and as to what lines of investigation the police are pursuing concerning the source of the arms, the purpose for which they were intended and any involvement by foreign Governments or their agencies.
§ Mr. HurdMy hon. Friend may have in mind a case which is sub judice at present. It would not be right to comment.
