Mr. Nigel Griffiths

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will give for social security tribunal appeals(a) the number of appeals outstanding in the United Kingdom, (b) the number of appeals outstanding in Scotland, (c) the approximate time it has taken for appeals which are being heard this week to be processed from the date of receipt, (d) how long it will take for all outstanding appeals to be processed in the United Kingdom and (e) how long it will take for all outstanding appeals to be processed in Scotland; and if, in each case, he will give, where possible, the appeal by category of claim.
