To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science when he proposes next to meet the Advisory Board for the Research Councils.

Mr. Jackson
My right hon. Friend and I met the advisory board on 25 November 1987, and we have met its chairman on a number of occasions since. Further meetings will be arranged as and when necessary.
