§ Mr. CranTo ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he has yet received a final report from Professor Margaret Clark on her evaluation of research into the education of under-fives.
§ Mr. DunnYes. Professor Clark's report is, I understand, due to be published today and I shall arrange for copies to be placed in the Libraries of both Houses. It is an important report, with implications for a major sector of education and I hope it will command wide attention. The views expressed in it are of course solely those of Professor Clark. My Department will be sponsoring a seminar to discuss its findings and to promote their dissemination.
