To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what representations he has received about the implications for traffic congestion of the parking of tourist buses in central London; and if he will make a statement.

Very few. Primary responsibility for the parking of tourist coaches lies with the local authorities and the operators. We keep a close watch on the position. The code of practice recently launched by the Bus and Coach Council will encourage better parking.
