To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what is the minimum and what is the maximum fee currently required to be remitted by an applicant for British nationality; and where he deposits such fees between the time they are removed from the applicants' envelopes and the time that the applicants are informed as to the result of their applications.

Mr. Renton

The prescribed fees for British citizenship are as set out. On receipt of each application, the fee is taken as an appropriation in aid into class XI, vote 3, and is accounted for in the appropriation account for that vote.
