§ Mr. Tony BanksTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement about the measures being taken by Her Majesty's Government to support the Guatemala agreement.
§ Mr. EggarWe and our European partners have on a number of occasions expressed our support for the agreement and urged the Central American Governments to fulfil their commitments under the agreement. We have also appealed to countries with links and interests in the region to lend constructive support for the peace efforts of the Central American countries. We have also condemned all acts of violence which might jeopardise the peace process.
