§ Mr. NichollsRecords maintained by the metropolitan borough of Rotherham careers service show that at 10 March 1988, 545 (18.6 per cent.) of the 16-year-old pupils who left school in Rotherham in 1987 were in employment outside YTS. Separate figures for full and part-time employment are not available.
