To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will publish an analysis of known job vacancies by skill category required.

I will arrange for a table showing the number of unfilled vacancies at jobcentres in Great Britain on 8 January 1988, analysed by occupation, to be published in theOfficial Report, Vacancies have risen by nearly 20 per cent. over the last year with increases for most occupations.
