§ Mr. LangThe Government, through their sponsor bodies, are already fully involved in promoting the development of Dundee's tourist industry. These bodies are always willing to provide assistance, advice and encouragement for worthwhile projects. The prime current example of Government activity is the Scottish Development Agency's participation in the work of the Dundee project in facilitating tourist-related developments at the waterfront site such as the R RS Discovery visitor centre. In addition, assistance has been provided to a number of projects, including the Stakis Earl Grey hotel, and the Scottish tourist board provides financial support for the City of Dundee tourist board.
