§ Mr. Tom KingI have regular and frequent meetings with the Chief Constable and the GOC. Since the beginning of this year this House has had the opportunity to debate the Northern Ireland (Emergency Provisions) Acts 1978 and 1987 (Continuance) Order 1988 and I have listened with interest to the views of the hon. Members on this and on other occasions. I have also had discussions with leading Northern Ireland politicians and Church leaders and attended four meetings of the Anglo-Irish Intergovernmental Conference.
