§ Mr. David MitchellConsiderable co-ordination between British Rail and London Regional Transport—the main transport providers in the capital—has already been achieved, with benefits to all public transport users. Of special interest to disabled travellers is the introduction this weekof LRT's "Carelink" bus, serving all London's main line railway stations with an hourly service connecting with the wheelchair-accessible "Airbus" for Heathrow. This now completes the link between BR's already accessible InterCity routes and the capital's major airport. Dial-a-Ride users in London can also be linked up with these services. In addition, there is a steadily growing pool of wheelchair — accessible taxis available in London, the majority of which are on radio circuits and able to provide a door-to-door service or connect with other accessible forms of transport.
