To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what representations he has received on "Curriculum and Assessment in Scotland: A Policy for the 1990s".

Some 400 responses to the consultation paper have been received to date from members of the public and from a range of bodies including education authorities, colleges of education, schools, school councils, parents organisations and churches. I expect to have further responses before the consultation period closes at Easter.
