§ Mr. TrippierLand has been vested in two of the six English urban development corporations. For information on the London Docklands development corporation I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave to the hon. Member for Newham, North-East (Mr. Banks) on 8 March at column118.
The average value of land vested in Merseyside development corporation was £9,200 per acre. Land prices in the urban development area currently range from £35,000 per acre to approximately £250,000 per acre, depending on size, location planning use and MDC expenditure on site preparation and infrastructure.
