§ Mr. MoynihanThe Government's proposals for implementing their national response plan for detecting and responding to future nuclear incidents like Chernobyl were published in January (reference: "The National Response Plan and Radioactive Incident Monitoring Network (Rimnet). A Statement of Proposals"). Copies of the statement have been placed in the Library of the House. Annex 3(iv) sets out the proposed procedures for detecting radioactivity in rainwater.
