§ Mr. HowardWe have received representations from and on behalf of the self-catering industry about the treatment of self-catering accommodation in the new local government finance system. It is our intention that holiday-let self-catering accommodation which includes services and facilities similar to those provided in a hotel should remain in rating. We are considering further the precise boundary between the domestic and non-domestic sectors in the light of the representations that have been made.
