§ 20. Mr. Janner
To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster when he expects the technical committee of the British Standards Institute to discuss new safety standards for pen tops.

§ Mr. Butcher
The British Standards Institutions (BSI) is taking urgent steps to develop this standard.262W Responsibility for controlling the work will rest with BSI but I understand that the first meeting of the technical committee concerned is likely to take place in April.
