§ Mr. NewtonThe manpower planning advisory group which advises the NHS management board and regional chairmen on NHS manpower issues, has recently established a joint consultative group with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy which is considering supply and demand in the profession as a matter of priority. When the results of that study are known, consideration will be given to preparation of appropriate advice to NHS authorities on recruitment and training.
