To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what further proceedings the Lord Advocate is considering arising from the facts and circumstances surrounding the case of HMA v Russell Stirton, with particular reference to those narrated in charge 9 of the indictment.

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if the Lord Advocate was consulted by the procurator fiscal of Glasgow in connection with his consideration of whether to oppose bail in respect of charges against Russell Stirton on 24 April 1986.

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if the Lord Advocate will review the circumstances surrounding the case of HMA v Russell Stirton and the investigation by an officer of Lothian and Borders police into allegations made by Russell Stirton; and if he will make a statement.
